08 gsxr 1000 oil

Where should i go? 08 1000 with 600 miles. Looking at either mobil 1 T4 or repsol t4?

Both are a quality choice. The main thing is to keep it changed on a regular basis and you will be fine.

yea either should be fine as long as you change the filters.

I run RP in my Blown BBC DragBoat . I want to continue with RP in my new bike as I am running it in my '83 GSX1100 Katana..air cooled its running the 20/50wt I just bought a new '08 1K and ready to change the oil with a little over 600mi. on her now. My question is down here in South Texas average ambient air temps around 100* what would you guys run as far as viscosity goes ??? 10/40 , 10/30 ????? or straight viscosity ???

I like amsoil, but if choosing between the two choices given i would use the repsol
