biglandfarm 09-08-2008, 07:45 PM my parents will never let me get a motorcycle, and im think that if i can convince them(60%),to let me slap the bike on my toureg's back and bring it to a track and thats after i fully convince them, and im ok with just rifing on the track and not going on the street, do u guys think this idea will work out for me???? by the way im 17 so are my allowed on the track at all and do i need a raceinglicence or some sort? thank u and plz forgive the spelling and the gramer.
CrotchCruiser 09-08-2008, 08:31 PM i've been in your shoes many years ago friend. personally, i think the track is the best place to learn the fundamentals of riding. it's a lot safer than learning on the street, plus they won't let you on the track unless you have all the required protection, which is good!
good luck with your parents

Jullien 09-09-2008, 08:34 PM That sucks your parents wont let you. I was 17 when I got my bike only 5 months ago. I hate it when people stereotype motorcycles or teenagers and think that just cause your young, your dumb, therefore a motorcycle will only kill you. Good luck with convincing your parents but kinda sounds like thats there deal unless they have some other reason, did you crash your car or something??? :shifty
