Any other oil filters for 01 GSXR 600

Hi I'm wondering if anyone knows of other companies like purolator that makes oil filters for a 2001 Gsxr 600 thanks, gmang35

Purolator filter Purolator ML16818 will fit, but I also see these notes. "This is a proprietary Suzuki thread, and no high performance filters are made for 20mmx1mm threads."

I only use Amsoil filters because they filter approx 5 microns more particles than any OEM filters.

Stay away from FRAM... they use cardboard to keep the filter together. :headshake

I run a Fram when I need to. I just change it often! Once the particles get down to the size of a molecule...whats the difference anyway. :lol:

Once the particles get down to the size of a molecule...whats the difference anyway. :lol: A lot for a high revving engine... :thumbup: Not everyone is anal about their oil changes... so if someone reads this thread and happens to be one of the lazy ones that changes every... I don't know... 10,000 miles or more FRAM would probably be the one to avoid.

for the record I use the Emgo Oil Filter 10-55660, they're like 5 to 6 bucks a pop and much better quality than FRAM :D

I use fram and change oil every 2k miles. Castrol Synthetic T4.
