"This is a proprietary Suzuki
thread, and no high performance
filters are made for 20mmx1mm
threads." you da man 09-23-2008, 07:44 PM I only use Amsoil filters because they filter approx 5 microns more particles than any OEM filters. Hong3103 09-23-2008, 09:04 PM Stay away from FRAM... they use cardboard to keep the filter together. :headshake Speed_Devil 09-24-2008, 06:26 PM I run a Fram when I need to. I just change it often! Once the particles get down to the size of a molecule...whats the difference anyway. Hong3103 09-24-2008, 08:51 PM I run a Fram when I need to. I just change it often! A lot for a high revving engine...
Not everyone is anal about their oil changes... so if someone reads this thread and happens to be one of the lazy ones that changes every... I don't know... 10,000 miles or more FRAM would probably be the one to avoid. Speed_Devil 09-25-2008, 06:26 PM If they are changing oil every 10,000 miles the filter isnt their only problem... dmb367 10-02-2008, 07:45 PM bunch of good info here::
