I was starting to look like now, I have the Sp1 right now but it started to fall apart. the A star logo's fell off and then i noticed i wore a very small hole onto the underside of the left hand thumb... random since ive never gone down in these and they are not even a year old but okay what ever.

I've had a lot of luck with Alpinestars; give them a call and tell them your story. They won't give you a new pair, but will most likely repair them for you.

Umm really? I'll give them a try but in the mean while any suggestions on other gloves I just require they are blue and have CF on them

As you already know about, the A* SP-1 (http://www.superbiketoystore.com/sport/shop.php/gloves/alpinestars-sp-1-leather-glove/p_485.html) Then you have the A* SP-2 (http://www.superbiketoystore.com/sport/shop.php/gloves/alpinestars-sp-2-leather-glove/p_486.html) These don't have CF on them, but they are certainly worth a look;Arlen Ness Racing (http://www.superbiketoystore.com/sport/shop.php/gloves/arlen-ness-racing-glove/p_3648.html) If you're willing to go to the polycarbonate knuckles, a whole new world will open up to you as well. I am a CF whore so thats a deal breaker right there for me... :D I might get another set of SP1's but they way they fell apart under normal wearing I can't say I am impressed with them.

Sometimes you get a "bum" pair. I would definitely send them back to A*. As far as a new pair, I'll do the best I can to get you good deal; just say the word.
