how to do this

people use sand paper and then spray paint it..... thats about all i got from searching about it. i want to do the same! i searched gixxer.com thats all i got from that site..... just use sandpaper.... wow.....

I would just sand it down by hand not with a very heavy grit..something that wont take you forever to get the ridges and stuff out, then lighter and lighter untils is decently smooth. Instead of spray painting it though, i would suggest tinting it that way you can still see them (idk if thats what you're going for or not) if you want to tint them go to a local auto parts store and get a can of VHT Niteshades, some might carry it in stock but odds are you're gunna have to order it.

im thinking im just gona take it to a tinting place to see if they can do it, i sanded the back sideof the wind screen on the bike and painted it but you can see the scratches through the opposite side, but the paint looks rather well through the front. i will let ya know what the end result is.

well I talked to my friend when I done mine...he works at a paint shop.....well I ended up getting some water based transparent black paint....very good cause u can spray it with an airbrush and thin it 50/50 with water and windex....then just sprayed a clear over it......turned out grerat and it still shows up amber when the lights flash

I used spray tent I got from a hobby shop (smoke color) then after I sprayed them I used Flitz to polish them.I did all of mine front and rear and the tail light the rear ones are easy just take them off and spray the inside the tail light and the front I had to polish to make them smooth.
