EDWIN PIZARRO 12-25-2008, 03:58 PM Problems that i face during riding season, i be going no where fast , Every time i get together with my fellow riders , we always take about 2 hours to figer out where to ride too. one of the most famous places in the boogie down (Bronx) is city island , which is cool. This season i want to venture abroad .
One of many reason why imma not in a club any more , every time we plan something , it always took a have a day just to meet up some were.
Need help with this, I want to ride some awsome twistees , new places, Kind of tire of the babecues and bike nights, want to ride out . let me in. pls. thanks.
JFM GSXR 750 12-26-2008, 08:31 AM It has to be someone's job to plan the ride before hand. Nothing is more fustrating sitting around deciding where to go and everyone has their own input. AND waiting for late comers. AND waiting for people who have invited other people who show up 2 hours late. :damn: You have to have a set time to meet and a set time to leave. WE the CRASH CREW have about 5 different routes we like to hit. ALL of them are full of twisties and very challengeing roads. Hence our name the Crash Crew, guys come up and can't handle the roads or ride beyond their abilities. We meet on sunday mornings to RIDE. Not to hang out at BBQs or ride to City Island.
JFM GSXR 750 12-26-2008, 08:48 AM I usually plan the route we are gonna take for the day. You can't please everyone. The routes we hit are usually around 100 miles one way. Not everyone can hang for the whole ride so they can leave when they run out of time. We usually have lunch at the end of the route cause we meet early in the am. The route going home is easier than going. Most are tired after a nice hard run. We try to keep the groups small. Large groups attract to much attention and it is hard to keep track of everyone. I am not into the club scene and rarely do bike nights. You are welcome to come up and roll with the crash crew, if you like twisties and RIDING HARD.:arsenal
EDWIN PIZARRO 12-26-2008, 12:44 PM I think imma take you up on that , give me an idea around wareabouts , you hit the nail right on the head man, well said, Thanks.

Then leave then behind. It gets boring riding local and doing the same roads all the time. I know everyone can't ride the whole day on sundays, but it is nice to go on a good long hard RUN once in a while. Like I said, you can't please everyone.
You should always ride at your own pace. Don't worry about being last. The main thing is too finish the RIDE in one piece!!!:arsenal
staycreep'ndany 01-01-2009, 09:52 PM i usually always do.. ride at my own.. this year im planning on taking long trips hoping to ride as much of the east coast as i can.. but we will see how things go..
gixxer32404 01-01-2009, 11:00 PM if riding in groups make a website or myspace page for the group for votes, and suggestions of route.

From the GWB its not far at all, depending on traffic of course, give or take maybe 30 minutes tops.
Everytime I went over there, all I saw were riders at the very end of the road in those two trashy fried seafood dives. I dont see how it can be a major hangout, cause theres only one road in and out, with cops everywhere.
As far as the demographics, expect gangsta realness son :arsenal
EDWIN PIZARRO 01-05-2009, 02:09 PM Put it this way for those who never been there , its a cool place, with all the shit i talk about that place, thats were we always end up at the end of the night or morning, as for girls :bounce, yeah there out there :D, its a good place for that to and if you like sea food thats the place you want to be. A lot of bikes be there in the summer. Let me know when your ready .

You forgot to mention all the potholes on the Cross bronx expressway and traffic. Potholes, cops and traffic not my idea of a ride.
When it is warm there is usually a ton of bikes at the circle. Another place where there are many bikes is the hawk's nest area. They hang out along the look out spots and at the many resturants along route 97. We usually eat at the Carriage House in Barryville on rt 97. Many bikes roll thru there.
