I read all the rules and I think I am doing this correctly... My Name is Aaron, and here is my baby... Year: 2001 Model: GSX-R Eng size: 1000cc Pipe: MIG High rise carbon fiber Seat: Stock Wheels: Stock 3 spoke Accessories/other mods: Forged internals, crank, rods, pistons, etc. Tribal tank protector, genuine Suzuki frame sliders, windscreen spikes, "dealer mode" switch, steering damper, double bubble windscreen, under-tail eliminator kit, 'GSX-R' tail lights, K&N Air filter, MIG Carbon fiber high rise exhaust, 'bulldog collar' spikes, spike bar ends, black aftermarket side mirrors, and more to come... And the story: Here is my baby, my 2001 GSX-R 1000!!! This is my dream bike!! I love the aggressive looks, the big heart shaped headlight, the power, the body lines, just everything!! I worked hard and saved up then I waited and waited for the right one to come along, then I found her!! She was a private sale from a kid who was going to make her into a track bike, he did all the internals, forged everything, then he applied to college and was broke from the bike, so I got it off him for a GREAT price!! I then did the windscreen spikes, the bull dog collar spikes, the tribal tank protector, the MIG high rise exhaust, the frame sliders, double bubble wind screen, spiked bar ends, "dealer mode" switch and touched up the paint. She may not be the most hooked up or the "showiest" bike out there, but I have done all the work myself and I am slowly modding her out as I get money. I think she is gorgeous and I am told she has a very rare paint scheme. I love her!! Thank you for considering my bike for BOTM. :D

Year: 2005 Model: Gsxr Eng size: 600 Pipe: D&D Seat: stock Wheels: stock Accessories/other mods: Shogun bar ends & Frame sliders. Bike has been lowered for my short legs :funny: And the story: Not much for a story but I started off riding a k2 Buell lightning, rode that for about 2 months and hated every minute of it. I kept searching for the right bike at a price that was in reason and found a local guy seling this one that was in great shape , havent regreted this purchase at all gixxer ftw http://i252.photobucket.com/albums/hh22/jaykb2006/SANY1776-1.jpg

The Smasher. Get an eye full. 2005 GSXR 1000 Full Yoshi Carbon shortened five inches on the front. Stock seat and wheels, but who messes with nots broken. the story is, I bought the bike with just an extention set. I put a full exhaust and K@N filter in to it. Then had a full dyno map that got me 170 HP and 82 PFT. CRG levers and a bad ass wind screen make the bike stand out. But the body color didnt fit the bikes personality, so I had the red stripes removed and covered with black. Me and a buddy popped out the head light and put in some Halos. That was a bitch. This bike is rediculously fasy and has gotten me into more than enough trouble. But its still my pride and joy. http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa251/dal8160/Trackdayphoto005.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa251/dal8160/Trackdayphoto009.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa251/dal8160/newbike009.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa251/dal8160/Trackdayphoto010.jpg This pic was of The Smasher with the old red stickers on the side. My Name is Chris, and here is my bike. Year: 2007 Model: GSX-R Eng size: 750cc Pipe: Scorpion Carbon Fiber Seat: Suzuki Gel Wheels: Stock Accessories/other mods: Removed decals, replaced with ones that I liked better. Still getting used to the bike so I'm still figuring out whats important to mod. My story is that when I was younger I rode all the time, after I joined the army, had kids, etc.. Everything went on hold but last summer as a retirement from the Army gift to myself I picked up the 750 you see here. I love to ride it and it is one of the freest feelings I have known just to ride. http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q157/williamscl1/004-4.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q157/williamscl1/009.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q157/williamscl1/bike1228004.jpg

Alright guys, heres a few more pics of The Smasher. Lets not get all wrapped up in custom paint and remember how good, well accented, stock fairings look. Not trying to knock anyone elses GSXRs. Good luck everybody. http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa251/dal8160/newbike001.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa251/dal8160/newbike004.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa251/dal8160/newbike003.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa251/dal8160/newbike002.jpg http://i202.photobucket.com/albums/aa251/dal8160/atthelake3.jpg Thats me on the right with my boy Kris. If you don't see your post anymore in this thread, it means: a) you think it's within BOTM rules to talk about random bike bs in this thread, or... b) you submitted a severely incomplete entry. Either way, perusing this (http://www.gsxr.com/showthread.php?t=48591) will clear it up for next time.
