SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........any pointers on how to get that back wheel so damn high......  If you wanna roll them for a good distance you need the wheel that high so that the bike unweights, then all you do is LIGHTLY feather the brake. I can't really give any pointers except, practice and BE CAREFUL PLEASE! I flipped one last year luckily I landed on my feet running. Actually I did do a write up on how I do them somehwere in the stunters category? Not sure where it ended up though look around it was only a day or two ago.

wow that's a nice stoppie...how long can you roll it? On my R6 I could roll them further, just becuase I knew the bike alot better. I've only had the 1K for a few days so I can't go too far yet. To be honest I couldn't even begin to guess how far I roll 'em, but we're not talking 100's of ft here. I ain't that good yet. I'd love to set up some markers to go for distance like we did on the 50's.

All I can say is you need to be wearing a helmet. You could loop that stoppie and crush your skull. I hope you don't ride without one much. If you don't want to wear a street helmet then get a MX helmet, they are light and at least provide some protection to your head. Nice stoppie by the way. I am not trying to preach but ask motoJoe, one of his friends can tell you what happens.

yea, I cant belive anyone would try that without a helmet, thats just crazy. Your almost always going to do a face plant if anything goes wrong, why would you even want to chance it? Everyone knows what happened to indian larry, and im sure he was more skilled at standing on his seat than any of us are at doing stoppies. Just takes one little slip-up. Looks like you do have skillz though, just dont get to confident while not wearing that helmet. thats when mistakes will happen.

I pretty much always wear it. If we're riding even up in NH I wear it, but if I'm just taking some slow pics of stoppies or something then I say fuck it! I've flipped a stoppie before so I know what it entails. It's no fun but if you're going slow enough then you land on your feet which is what I did. It's when you flip a fast one that you are screwed. And If you have any clue how to do them you won't flip until you're getting greedy on the height of it and I don't get greedy on the height until I've slowed way down first. But I do agree, a hemlet is a good idea!

Trust me even slow ones can result in deadly accidents. You should go get a MX helmet. You have skills but even the best stunters mess up from time to time.
