Gawd! How I want to go for a ride. But got two or three more months till the snow melts enough. I tried going to the storage unit about once a week to sit on it and go VARooooom VaRooom. It doesn't help. Nor does reading the posts from all those to the south talking about "their" ride last weekend. Grrrrr. How do the rest of you get through the winter without bugs in your teeth?

yupyup winter mods and cleaning it lol or just ramdomly taking it out from under the cover and sitting on it and putting it on the rear stand and starting it lol and getting those random winter days where it's not raining out and i can ride but it's really cold. i could go on longer but that's what get's me through the winters lol

Yeah being in Iraqistan is how I get through the winter at the moment. :lame: I like to sit and imagine all of the parts I'm gonna order and how great it's going to be to install them all when I get home.

Winter mods are where it's at! I bought my new bike the first week in December, I've only put 14 miles on it!!! It's killing me, sits in my basement and I see it every time I go down there to watch TV. Seems like every week I'm doing something else to it. Just got my rear sets, pass pegs, and brake/clutch levers back from powder coating last week.

I kinda solved the problem by moving out to Breckenridge for the winter season. Now I'm either working or snowboarding so it keeps my mind preoccupied. Plus I don't have to walk past my bike every day and wish it was sunny and 75

Long range forecast shows 8 in London! Might have to take it out. I started mine up the other week and let the ass end hang out on the driveway.. it was snowing.. As i looked it, I thought, the snow on the driveway should be melted.. So i melted a patch, can't say how, I could technically lose my license in Ontario :P

I have not even seen my baby since october! she is in a shed out back with a 4 foot high snow drift against the door. all I can do is look out the window at the shed and cry.... there were some guys out riding here a few weeks ago. I have no clue how they managed to get their bikes to the highway since all of the side streets are covered in snow and ice... excuse me guys and gals, i think i am gonna go tunnling this afternoon.....lol

i'm up in northern alberta and its not suppose to get up above freezing till april and we still have like 3 feet of snow on the ground and suppose to get another foot this week so it will still be a long time before i'm out riding again, and i havnt ridin since september to make it that much worse.

Well the temp around here has started getting above freezing and most of the snow is gone. I've even seen a few bikes out on the roads (watch out for the loose sand & salt, guys). Actually I would have rode my yesterday, but still waiting on some wielding I could not do myself. A few more weeks and I can leave the Cage to rust in the driveway for a few months.
