was a sad night in detroit

last night every1 met up on telegraph ( a tight spot to win some $$$, if your bikes hot enough), there was a few guys with some trailored cars there, about 60 bikes, and a bunch of imports. a handfull of races later, a guy comes up with an 01 gsxr 1000, 12" over, claimin to have a 150 shot of bo0st :arsenal . so0o, this guy was lookin for a race, he claimed he would run any thing, for any amount. now this is where it gets good, one of my boyz had an old school malibu, all hooked up. my boy said he would give the gix a 5 car lead !?,., the only catch is that they had to run it on the bikers turf. a few words later we were off to his side of town. a freekin parade of cars bikes, and squids all headin down to this new spot. well the malibu gets unloaded, they line up, over 200 people are watchin, and the biker backs out!!!!!................ im thinkin, no f!@#$n way!!!! $2,000.00 on the line, a big drive to nowhere and the dude walks. lmfao now im sorry but in dertoit you cant do that. your not gonna be able to show your face around town again. gettin laughed at from over 200 people must be something, cause the kid didnt just leave. he called 5-0 :headshake

People still race on tele? I used to go down there in the late 90's when I had my zx6r. Good times but then there was that whole news story that ruined it and had the cops acutally busting people instead of just pulling up and watching everybody run :laughingr Do people still meet at that donut shop at tele and joy? not at the donut shop anymore, but across the street behind rallys. n ya, teles' cool to meet up @, then its off to outer, fort,delray,clay,mc nichols,schoolcraft,eckles, everywhere in-between, but the hottest spot now is in toledo, just off alexis ave. :thumbup: like my pic? hahaha

i havent been around there in a while, since "outer drive "days. it was always a blast around there! sux he was a coward!!

We used to race a lot on fullerton over the southfield freeway but mostly at rouge river parkway and outer drive. Speaking of rouge river, they repaved it awhile back and its bad ass. Get on from outerdrive and go south until it ends at warren. Lots of twisties but the speed limits 25. Then again it's detroit so the speed limit really doesnt matter :bounce

after the police left they should have kicked his ass for making them drive all the way over there for nothing and then took his bike and auctioned it off for charity! :hmmm:
