how about doing a poll for bike of the year with all the years winners?

Sounds like the perfect way to reward someone for their hard work and for being an active member of the site. A bag of goodies from the site sponsors would be nice as well.

In these tough times I don't see sponsors being really willing to give away stuff! Hell, we're lucky they do group buys or put stuff on sale!

If there are no sponsor prizes or whatever, do it for braggin rights. I never won the bike of the month yet but I would damn sure be proud of winning it since its voted on by peers from the site.

even if you don't win any pocession(sp) it'll be cool. i try to make my bike look nice for myself. the benefit of admiration is why i do it. if there are prizes thats a plus though!! good thought guy!

Now, I don't know what we'd be able to offer in terms of a prize, but surely bragging rights will suffice, right? I'll toss this around with the staff and see what we come up with, if anything. No guarantees on the prize, but we can definitely do the contest....

Yea, that sounds like a winner. gotta have some sort of rating scale with like 5 to 10 different aspects of the bike to rate on it though. I think that would make it a little more easier to make it compete-able yes no?

we all keep talking about bike of the year... so when is it gonna happen?

its not looking good but since i started this tread check my new 750 and vote for bike of the month when it comes up ill post pics tonight

I think thats a good idea. It should also encourage people that submit their bike for botm to step it up a bit more

i really think this should happen. i have won bike of the month two years with two different bikes. so it would be cool to see where it came up
