Newbie question

Picking up an 07 750 Don't have an owner's/service manual yet but will get one asap... First thing I plan to do is change out all the fluids... What is the recommended oil weight and # quarts? I have a new oil filter/crush washer from my 2nd Gen SV650 and would like to use it on the GSXR if it's compatable. Where would I find that info? (ie oil filter part number...)

For Oil I like to use Rotella T Full synthetic it is diesel oil but works well. As for the oil filter just look it up on a parts website and see if they match.

Yes the SV filter should be compatible (almost all Suzuki's use the same oil filter) although I'm not sure on the crush washer, you would just have to compare. You can reuse the old one a couple times. Regarding oil, there are a TON OF THREADS on that VERY SUBJECT!!!! Right here in the oil forum. You don't even have to search, they are right here.
