any meets around here? RichardsonTX 02-25-2009, 10:42 AM Richardson here...I've heard that on Thursday nights there is a bike night at Sonic in Plano (north of G Bush Turnpike on Coit Rd). Haven't been there yet, but may be going tomorrow. I just traded in my '06 GSX-R 600 for an '08, so I'm itching to get past the 600mi break-in period so I can open it up. There are some good roads northeast and east of Denton towards lake Lavon and also north of 380, just east of McKinney. Also, FM 455 between US-75 to I-35 has historically been a good ride, although it's gotten bumpy over the years. MR DANGLES 02-25-2009, 10:50 AM Carrollton here, sonic in garland off n.w hwy. on Thursday nights but the cops have just got to bad. 35 and royal @ the gas station , high five cycles on Greenville and 635 (by far the best place the hang out cause the owner is cool) and taco cabana on lower Greenville. All on Thursday nights. I will be getting out tonight though. I’m not really into hanging out in parking lots I wanna ride!!!! Oh and Sunday nights @ fire water if it is still going on. You know the cops shut these places down all the time so everyone has to keep moving.
