Ages of GSXR owners

I was just curious of average age of a GSXR owner. Or maybe just looking for something to talk about till I can get out of work and on my bike. :thumbup:

im almost 22...but ive been riding since i purchased my bike when i was 19??

41 here and been riding for 15yrs. Some of the dudes I roll with are in their mid 40's and one guy is 52!!! :thumbup: He is still draggin his knee and he is a grandfather!!! :clap:

i got my gixxer the friday of may 2-4 week-end. now i turned 19 in july!

33 here, been riding/racing quads and dirtbikes since I was 11, been riding streetbikes since I was 14. My dad started me out on a 74 Kawasaki 3cyl. 2-stroke 400! What an eye opening experience! We lived on a gravel road! Needless to say, gravel doesn't scare me a bit! :thumbup:

When I was 15 I stole 3-4 motorcycles for joyriding. I longest one I kept was 3 weeks (no need to flame, not proud of it). At 16 I bought a cbr 1100. At 20 I bought a 600, moved up to a 750 then bought an R1 and now a gsxr 1000. Total riding years: 17 Ive been without a bike for one of those years......Time served for the above mentioned stupidity.

been riding dirt bikes since I was about 15. Got my first street bike (91 gs500e) at 20. then took a couple years off after I sold it and got my 03 750 in 2003. I'm 28 now and still going strong.

Been riding since I was about 4, and cometitively since like 7 or so. First streetbike was purchased at 19. Benn riding since Am now 25....... and have ridden damn near every popular production sportbike, you get to do that when you are a mechanic :pimp:

I've had to sleep on my bike more than a few times, it's actually not that bad, especially when you have a jacket to smooth out the bumps. I kept my helmet on all night and had my head on the passenger seat, it's just like a pillow!

At 45, it just keeps getting better. Don't ever seem to get tired of riding sportikes. Six broken bones in three different accidents(over a lifetime). All accidents were on Honda! :lol: I have a 05 1k Gixer now and feel great on it. This bike is a real hero maker.

35 years old, 2000 GSXR 600 and now a 2005 GSXR 750, been riding dirtbikes since I was 7 years old. Just turned 38,have a 94 1100w I bought new just turnrd 19,000 miles,been riding for 30 years now,just joined site.also have 03 rm 250,75 kawi z-1 , 74 triumph trophy 500,73 kawi mach 111,wife also rides a superglide and a kx 80,my son has a kx 60 but is still to small to ride it

34 years young! My first bike was a 1974 sportster that I rebuilt at the ripe old age of 19. I bought most of it in milk crates. I bought my first sport bike 3 years ago. I'll never go back to Harleys. Old technology at premium prices. They just dont make sense.

more the likely i'll keep riding, but i'll never keep a gsxr for crusing. it'll be something else i don't have to see all day. definitly non of the jap bikes for sure. 26here meaning i'll have more then one bike - one for the track of coarse. a nice twin or something for the street. duc/mv/aprilia haven't been on a street ride in over a year, only track time now. have had 4 bikes (own 2 currently) stated july 2002 with the 600m telefonica when i was 22.

No surprise the majority of people here are 21-25.I was thinking the same thing. Hehe. However, I started riding when I was 23 (14 years ago). Two weeks ago, I turned 37. My GSX-R750 is my 5th bike but first Suzuki.

20 now, started when I was 17... oh I miss that first time ever on a bike... the thrill of speeding down the road at 30km/h (whats that? like 18mp/h?) felt like I was a speeding bullet... ooooh that was a fun day

I'm 29, about to hit the big Three Oh. I'd just like to say its good to see there are at least some 40+ers and 40+ers on a Gixxer. I really hope I'm still riding a sport bike when I reach 50, instead of using my age as an excuse for being riding a Harley.
