Stand-up question

Hey all, I recently started "practicing" stand ups.....Im comfortable on my bike, I can attempt to hit BP on sit-downs without any real fear. I'm a pretty tall dude (6' 4") so when I get into a staggered stand up stance I feel like I am going to fall over the front of the bike. I cant get myself to commit to it cause every time time I slip the clutch, even just alittle bit, It feels like Im going to slip off the pegs with that sudden burst of RPMS :headscrat. Is there something I need to do differently? Or am I just being a puss and not trusting that the bike will do what I tell it to. Im trying to get this somewhat down before summer and I look like a f'ing tard going back and forth just standing up and not doing anything lol

Wow, thats motivational. I'm also 6'4" and i feel the exact same way! Buddy does stand ups in front of me and i get so jealous.. but I can kick his ass in a sit down. I try to stand up and i feel like a clown.

try switching your stock pegs out for dirt bike pegs theyll help you stick to the pegs better and take a couple of hose clamps and clamp the rear pegs to not allow them to flip up or move while bringing it up. hope this helps

maybe make sure the center of your foot is on the peg, and go for it, ---never done a wheelie so just guessing.

yea its just a backroad haha and it was smoother on that side lol. Thanks for the compliments tho guys! Did a wheelie for 3 miles the other day on our freeway haha, stupid? yes, adrenaline rush? hell ya
