how to clutch itR6_rider 07-31-2005, 03:26 PM i have a 600cc r6 its about the same as a gsxr 600 i want to know how to clutch it up what rpm how much throttle etc G03ixxer6 07-31-2005, 03:41 PM to tell u the truth i used to use the clutch but i started bouncing it up and it is much easier and safer....this is only my opinion do whatever you like  gixxerbrendan 07-31-2005, 07:03 PM I would start trying to pull it up at about 6,000 to 8,000 rpm. while accelerating in 2nd just pull the clutch in for just a second and give it a little gas. Cover the rear brake and start small. Better to pull a hundred little wheelies before you get the hang of it than the one BIG wheelie that could end your motorcyce riding days. 04StreetGSXR 07-31-2005, 07:53 PM anyone have any experience with this on a lowered bike???? if so is it much different like just higher rpms to get it up? 01gixxer 07-31-2005, 08:51 PM anyone have any experience with this on a lowered bike???? if so is it much different like just higher rpms to get it up?
Your just going to need more rpm's cause your center of gravity is different. Or more horsepower. My old gixxer 600 would power whellie first and it was lowered 3" http://www.norcal-ls1.com/forum/images/smilies/cust/gr_devil.gif 04StreetGSXR 08-01-2005, 05:38 PM i can power wheelie first but im having trubble clucthin them in second, i can get off a little powering it in second i try to bounce it but it wont come up gixxerbrendan 08-01-2005, 08:41 PM Try sitting farther back on the seat. That always helped me when I had my SV... 04StreetGSXR 08-01-2005, 11:40 PM i got the bike to come up bouncing it in second tonight i just need to keep it up ill work on that another day, gotta take it slow its kinda scary  | |
