lil help with BP

I am 6'7, 200lbs, got an 01 gsxr 1000 yosh pipe, ohlins steering damp., stock gearing? maybe? i had a 97 750 for 6 years, wheelied all over now the big boy, 2nd gear sit down wheelie's, and 3rd gear stand ups no problem, but i always have to keep the speed up to keep going. i want to pop it up and cruise, is my front wheel to low?? lil help please!!! Oh yeah, being so tall, it's like flying a windsail, above my windsheild. ct

try going on ebay and type in "wheelie sprocket" it might be what you are looking for

Dude...no need for gears. Get the video cam out and get some wheelie footage to see how high you really are. Chances are you are only at like 10-10:30 o'clock which results in always chasing your wheelie and speeding up. Once you see how high you really are, you will quickly realise how much higher you can go. It's seems like your really high when your doing it but the fottage doesn't lie. You might want to lean back more too in the event your leaning to far forward. That will change your BP slightly too. I moved to the staggered standup and can find 11-11:30 which will slow it down alot. Try the footage and let me know what happens.

Hm ive hit BP once in 1st gear, usually im chasing but im getting some good throttle control, i wanna know how to do it in 2nd tho. Im considering shifting on one wheel.

thought about the stagered stance lil nervous about that. i had my buddy with me last night, he said i was around 10/10:30, thanx for the input, i gonna try some more after work today. ct
