I just bought a 2009 gsxr600 and I wanted to know if I should get the "no cut" frame sliders or the regular ones that require body modification.... Since the no cut's are 100 dollars I am tempted just to get the standard ones and figure out how to install them.
Thanks for any imput:thumbup:

i have the no cut ones its really up to you, you have a chance of messing up your brand new fairings if you cut them wrong, if you get the no cut ones you will see how the fit once you look into it, the right side of bike(as your on it) just bolts into the existing fairing bolt hole, the left side has a bracket that fits up against the frame, that you will be able to see once you loosen the fairings up, check them maybe a week or so later to make sure they are still tight, mine loosend and almost fell off

Congrats on the purchase!
Here's what I did (just how I did it, not necessarily saying it's the better way to go). I went ahead and got the OEM frame sliders. When I took my bike in for the 600 mile service, I had the dealer install the sliders. They were able to drill through the left fairing for me. (I had already seen a bike they had on display in the store with the fairing drilled and I was happy with the quality of the work) They charged me 1/2 hour of labor to install it since I was already getting the service done. So if you're worried about having to drill through the fairing yourself, you could consider that method.

I think the general consensus is that you will find here is that no-cut sliders are fairly worthless in anything more than a stationary parking lot drop (and some don't even hold up for that.)
