Top notch! And thanks for taking the time to post the vid. How are the strips mounted? Inside the swing arm for example. I'm not sure what they mean by "Cradle Mounts". And also, while I think of it, can you adjust the "fade" speed on the controller? BTW I found some 2 wire 22AWG mini plugs (JST Lipo battery connectors) for fairing quick disconnects if you need any. 10 of em for $6 on Ebay.

just got these but can't find the right quick disconnects. this might be easier if i knew what 22 awg converts to in metric? help anyone? It does not have to be exactly the same you can go up or down in the wire size just look at them if they are really close and fit in to the connector and don't pull out then it will be fine if you need more help you can pm too.

hey antz did you use anything else to secure the wires aside from the cradle mounts and sticky backs from the leds? Just a little skeptical of these wires catching some wind and ripping the lights off.

I used sticky backs and tie raps and before i put the sticky backs on i degreesed the area as much as possible and then put it on there the kit does not come with enough of them so you will need to buy some more sticky backs.

looks great! can you adjust the brightness of the light or just simply on and off? if you get the remotes you can adjust light intensity from 100to 75 to 50 to 25%, "breathe" feature which fades in and out and strobe. and turns them off of course.

yea alittle bit lol, it wouldnt have taken so long if i wasnt so anal about everything. I even used shrink wrap on the connections to make sure they didnt come apart lol, plus degreasing the places i wanted to place the leds took some time. But in the end it was well worth it, and its bright as hell lol.

Man i hear that it took me a really long time because i wanted the switch up front and i wanted a disconnection everywere a piece of fairing came off and labled them so it i needed to rip apart the bike i could just take everything off in the fly and have lables to make sure everything went back right and i used tons of sticky backs to secure the wires way more than what came with it.

i used most of my stickie backs but not all of them, mainly used them on the fairings, then when i got past the motor ran the wires next to the wires already there and secured them with zipties and put it all together with heat shrink. I need to find some velcro or something to mount my switch cause that thing doesnt wana stay put lol.

antzgarcia
08-29-2009, 02:25 PM
yeah that is what i used was velcro for now until i figure out were i want to really put it i was kind of rushed i had to finish so i could ride if to work the next day when i did it.

EvilGSXR

antzgarcia
08-29-2009, 08:06 PM
yeah if i leave the house in the morning and it is raining i don't ride but if not i always ride the ride home doesn't matter if it is flooding as long as i don't have to work wet.
