hello everyone .....................i have a question.............wat are you guys and gals shifting at on your bike............i have a 99 gsxr600 and I am shifting at 8k rpms................ thanks ant

I don't know what a 99 redlines at but that sounds low...

It depends on what type of riding I am doing. If I am just doing around town, to and from, riding then I'm shifting anywhere from 5k-10k. If I'm racing somebody then I'm shifting at about 12k (redline).

Same with Ski on the shifting. Except I shift around 14grand if I am racing somebody. Oh and Welcome to the site.

if i'm cruising i'm shiftin at 7 or 8K but if i'm on it hard i'm all the way to the redline. :arsenal
