So I broke down the other day and decided to purchase a double bubble puig windscreen and a hotbodies undertail kit.
I received the products today and realized real quick that the underbodies piece was a huge waste of money.
The part is $2.00 of ABS plastic, a .50 cent led from radioshack and several "L" brackets from home depot.
Without installing the item I decided within minutes to return it. Boxed it back up and trying to send it back.
On the Plus side, I did have to say the fit looked ok. But realistically a coat of gray primer, a top coat of blue and some clearcoat on the stock undertail piece would yelled similar results at a fraction of the price.
After soem investigation I felt that most the products from hotbodies are nothing more then OEM parts repainted to match your bike.

well there are a lot of things you can make urself for bikes and cars, its who takes the time to do it is what it comes down to. Undertail kits look like you can make them pretty easy urself like u said since its just a piece of plastic, all u gotta do is measure and cut it then you got one.

The only hotbodies undertail that works is with the r6 to get rid of that horrible fender, the one for our gixxer...sucks big time!

I made the first and last mistake of purchasing products from 58cycle.com
For all people there return policy dictates a 20% return.
So even on products that are deficient, broken crappy, a dog farted on it they will not do anything without taking 20% of your money. So if you purchase a product and then deem it wasn't what you thought it was on the website they have a 20% customer theft rate on their products. This is a clear way NEVER to get return business. Thats's what they wanted so I feel only right to agree with there horrible return policy and never purchase anything from this company ever again.

I run a parts business as well. and for companies like that your drop shipping everything so there isn't anything to "restock".
And if you are storing all your own products its not like products return in 15-30 days will take up additional space.
Essentially companies like 58cycle implement a 20% restocking fee because they have bad service and crappy products.
The 20% is an insurance policy to make sure no one returns anything because no one wants to give up $20.00 on a 100.00 purchase.
But even worse they won't even give a house credit for the full returned value. So even if you return a product and want to purchase something else in exchange they still charge you the 20%. So its a lose loose all around situation with this company. Its truly pathetic.
