GSXR.com Bike of the Month, September 2009 Submission Thread

Time to post them up again, folks........ Here (http://www.gsxr.com/showthread.php?t=48591) are the rules. Again, note that there have been additions to the rules, speaking specifically to those who find the need to campaign for their plight. Any campaigning within any thread within this section, or in any other thread will result in disqualification from the running, and an infraction issued. Simple stuff- post up your bike, and if it wins, it wins. If it doesn't, try again. End of story. If we get out of hand with the "here's a few hot chicks with my bike" pics, then those will be made no longer allowed as well. So, let's not go down that road....... Year: k4 frame k5 engine Model: gsxr 600 Eng size: 1000 Pipe: bone Seat: stock with painted cowl Wheels:sexy ... 190 rear Accessories/other mods: 1000 motor swap, cams, velocity stacks, air filter, power commander 3, gsxr extension blocks, lowered(maybe too low!), powercoated: frame, subframe, swingarm, tripple tree, axel spikes, vortex gas cap, licence plate frame, foot pegs, brackets, clutch and brake levers. chrome handgrips, black blade mirrors, wet ass paint, silver windscreen, flush mount and undertail, chrome gsxr plates, chrome spike kit,etc... And the story: i bought the bike and needed something crazy looking with the speed to match. thats y i hadda do the motor swap. i love having 600 on my bike, cause it pisses r1's, busas, and other 1ks off when they get beat! And yes my rottie pup in the 1st pic is named gixer lol

A lot of my pics, as u can see, are during the whole process. So some of them were pre clear coat. Now that my baby is finished, I'm going to buy a new camera.

I was tired of seeing all the stock looking bike. So I decided to go with the all custom paint job. I wanted to stand out and watch the heads turn. Not to many people around my area has a bike that looks this good. I have a little more I want to do, like stretch it out. But that will come this winter.

just traded chrome mirrors for the black ones... i think it looks a lot better... now i need the black blade levers and handgrips :(

There are not a lot of bikes this month so I thought I would throw up some pictures that I already had. K1 750, full yoshimura exhaust with heat wrapped header and a carbon fiber can cut down 9 inches, K&N filter, Power commander, tre, woodcraft frame sliders and cfm rear sets, puig double bubble wind screen, Clear led tail light and flush blinkers, 520 chain with vortex sprockets, -1 front sprocket with speedo tuner, My newest addition is a muzzy nitrous kit that I got because it was brand new and paid next to nothing for it. The kit from a 1k that I fit into my 750 I have a lot of nickel and dime carbon fiber or powder coated pieces and mods that most people have so I’m not going too far into detail. It’s not the newest bike or the cleanest because I ride the shit out of it. But I'm hoping that people will appreciate the effort that I put into it and give me some votes. The Story: I've had the bike since I was 16 and just slowly building my riding skills while taking small steps to making it look the way I want. I'm a college student so the money is limited but I've got big plans for her. I've got a few winter mods lined up already, and since I'm in school all the way in Chicago my riding season is already over! All's I can do is save up and envy you guys in the South!
