Is this rear stand good???

Ive been looking for a rear stand and pitbull stands just seem to be to pricey, i found this rear stand and it seems to be about the same thing only cheaper. Anyone use this brand or know about it??? http://www.motomummy.com/store/product.php?productid=16280&cat=261&page=1

Yeah A lot pf ppl have DMP stands. I was looking and recently purchased front and back + spools. T-Rex http://myworld.ebay.com/ebaymotors/t-rexstands/ The PitBulls are meant to be good also, but they were too $$ for me.

Whatever works for you man, I have several friends that have made thier own stands but they are welders so it wasn;t a big deal for them. I have an LP, a Pit Bull and a set of stands called RedLine that some guy was making and selling on the R1-fourm years ago. as long as they get the bike in the air and are steady I wouldn;t think trwice about using them. :)

I personally do not like any stands that are multi-piece designs and bolt together. The aluminum DMP stands bolt together and so do t-rex. The t-rex stands my buddy had were junk. The bolts stripped and they became loose and wobbly when lifting his bike. He felt very uncomfortable using them on his bike. He ended up selling the t-rex stands and buying a set of front and rear sporbike stands from gpi industries. They have a solid steel frame design and wont bend of flex. I think they have a lifetime warranty to. He got the set for like $130 shipped....their site is below, www.gpiindustries.com

I agree with gsxr69 I have the t rex rear stand and i don't like it. it has 4 wheels and when you pick your bike up it tend to buckle in and rest only on the inner 2 the bolts are spot welded so if the weld is off it dose not bolt together correctly. get a solid stand if you can.

I have a DMP rear stand (although it's a different model), and I'm glad I got it. It was about $90 shipped to my door, which isn't bad. It works just fine.
