Been thinking (for a long time now) about getting the full length ASV levers. They are from $200 to $250 depending on where your looking. J/w how you guys like yours? And just want to know if you went with the long or shortys? And why? I havent ever used the shortys and am not sure if i would like them. Thanks:arsenal

I'm running shorties. I just cut them down myself. Took the appropriate lenth section out of the center, cut an "I" shaped channel in the back and filled it with a combination of threaded rod, nuts and JB Weld. They came out even better than I had hoped. Made them smooth as butter with a file and then I wrapped the centers with grip tape. 10X better than stock and they look factory. Right down to the ball on the ends and they still retain reliefs in the event of a crash. The Brembo lever was even easier because they have a hallow channel in the back. I can work the clutch and stoppie each with only one finger. Shorties are the only way to go. I've always got the front lever covered with one finger and it makes throttle modulation very smooth and precise. Much less twitchy.

i love my pazzo shorties. S oooo much better then full size levers. They make the functionability of applying the brake a lot easier, and more feel imo.

I've got the ASV 'longies' or standard length levers and they are superb. The build quality is excellent and the feel and adjustability whilst on the move is great. They claim to be unbreakable as they bend outwards so in the event of a fall, they should bend out of harms way. They come with a 5 year guarantee to this effect I believe. I think 'unbreakable' is pushing it a little, but they should certainly withstand a hell of a knock and stay in one piece. Highly recommended levers!

I just installed a set on my 04 last week and the brake light did the same thing. Also on my set the screw holes to mount the clutch switch pad weren't tapped deep enough so i had to fix that also. I was a little upset considering. After the first ride with them i no longer had any doubts about the purchase.

it really depends on what your looking for. ive run shorties on bikes and obviously standards as well. i personally like the look of a shirty lever but like the brake feel of a long. i prefer longs for that reason. either way your call. p.s. remember ASV's come with a LIFETIME warranty to the original buyer. I noticed alot of "Slop" in my friends CRG & Pazzo's. These say they have no slop, and the machine work shown in the pictures made me change my mind on which to buy. ASV also makes a clip with a nylon bushing to mount your brake/clutch levers to the bars. Supposedly they can move up and down also to avoid breakage.
