Screw Paying for Powdercoating

I have a similar one from harbor freight. I haven’t tried it yet but I really want to see how good the chrome looks. After you use it post the results and some pics.

The chrome powdercoat looks for most part like chrome spray paint except it lasts much longer and is a tougher coating than spray paint.

It seems to look a little more like real chrome on rougher surfaces than it does on smooth surfaces.

Sorry Lyte- i posted it to see wut people thought about it. That kind of review if anyone else has used it and there impressions of it. If i do try it i will post up acouple pics and my overall review of it.

That's pretty awesome. Getting a separate oven just for that though seems like a hassle so it kind of discourages the use of this product....unless you have one sitting around.

Update: I used mine for the first time today. I would recomend praticing on spare parts first. It takes some adjusting to get it to flow right. If you screw up you can just use an air hose and blow it all off and start over. Its very important to clean all of the paint off because the powder will only stick to bare metal. I did my rims in white. It took some modifacations to the oven to get them to fit. I will post up some pictures when finished.
