To those who are in New Zealand. The Wednesday and Thursday night rides have started up again;
Wednesday nights are the slower of the two nights and my personal fav. Great ride for practicing open road riding or simply to meet up/go for a ride/enjoy a light meal and couple of drinks with like minded people.
Thursday night is faster version of above.
Both meet up at 6 pm (leaving at 6.30) at The Duck Pond car park in Avalon.
The other fantastic event is the final points round for Wellington bucket racing on 11 October. This one is at the Slipway, Brooklyn. You have to go through a locked automatic gate at the end of the car park at the wind turbine in Brooklyn so everyone meets up between 10.30 and 11am. If you were at the last round at Manfield you would have seen buckets out on the track during the feature race.
