A buddy of mine had his bike stolen from TCC parking lot during class. A witness saw a green chevy / gmc pickup and a black guy and white guy putting the bike in the back of the truck. No license plate info or anything. He searched around and talked to people in the biker community around here and ended up finding a place on Abrams and 360 that works in the cover of a wheel shop. Its called Dunn's Wheels. He said he went there and saw 4 bikes in the back in pieces....and called the cops, but the police werent helpful to the guy...instead they told him to leave and threatened to call arlington police and accuse him of having a gun. He left that day. He called and asked the guy at the wheel shop if he had bike parts and wanted full white and red for the 06 (which was the color of his bike), and the guy hung up on him. I went by this shop and checked it out. The windows are blacked out completely, and nobody was there (which is strange for business hours). There is a car parked in front that looks like it hasnt moved for a long time. If anyone has missing bike in this area, I suggest you swing by up there and check it out.

just a follow up. I heard through thre grapevine that someone was taken into custody on this incident. The bike was not recovered, but what the person got in trouble for was 2 bike frames with the SAME vin number. Supposedly the person taken in was released.
