Talk about some bull shit. Today my buddy Atac03 and I were riding home from Best Buy on the interstate when he popped a small wheelie just as a state trooper was traveling in the opposite direction. The trooper then called in a chopper to track us down. We got to his apartment settled in then started screwing around with his computer. 30 minutes went by when there was a knock at the door. He wasn't thinking anything of it so he yelled out "come in." All of the sudden we got bum rushed by four cops wanting to know who was riding this bike and that. One then asked me some shit like "Which one were you?" and "What did you do on the ride?" Keep in mind this was atleast a half an hour after we had gotten home so my memory was a little foggy. The officers then gave us a blow by blow of our ride home. I admitted nothing and told them it wasn't us. Atac03 kinda slipped and admitted to a small wheelie so they ended up ticketing him with reckless driving. They told us some bullshit about having us on video and shit. "Ok let us see it might be able to put it in a video and post it." They knew that he had done a wheelie and as we exited the freeway someone did a stoppie at a red light no one noticed my clutch drop I did like ten seconds before Atac's stoppie. Not only did they call in a chopper but there were three squad cars and four officers in the parking lot waiting when we came out of the apartment. People probably thought a fucking murder had taken place or something. Ok we screwed up but did they really need to use such force to write a stupid wheelie ticket. Talk about a huge waste of tax payers dollars. Lets see, A chopper probably runs a generous $500 dollars per hour, Fuel for 4 squad cars at close to $2.50 per Gal, and last but not least roughly the 1 1/2 hours wage of an officer x4. You do the math. All for like a $300 ticket. No wonder this town is having financial problems. This town is in the middle of a huge Methamphetamine epidemic. Why aren't these guys out doing something useful like busting up crack houses and shit or catching Bank Robbers after all we have had more then a few of those in the last year. Let me know if I am out of line but I think this is total horse shit. P.S. Sorry I went off so long.

all that shit for a wreckless driving ticket, that is soooo fucked up. and the cops having to do a raid like it's a crack house is so fucked up. i never voice my opinion on cops pulling people over, cause it's pointles, but that bullshit is just retarded. what happens in ID with a wreckless driving ticket. my guess is he'll go the lawyer route for supervision or maybe not even need that. (might be wrong on that but if you don't have a previous record would probably work) that raid thing is such bullshit though fuck that :2hard

Ya know, I'm usually pro-cop and I'm sick of people complaining about getting in trouble for doing something ILLEGAL!! But...in all seriousness...things have gotten out of hand. That is alot of manpower and money, all for a wreckless driving ticket. I'm going to have to agree that is bullshit. Bet ya won't be saying "come in" anymore.

Yeah I def wont be sayin come in anymore. That screwed me over. There are so many descrepancies in the officers case (all 4 of them :laughingr ) that I think with a lawyers help I can get it dropped. I am pro cop as well, but this was a little out of hand.

Thats funny, read on a local forum about someone getting a ticket by airplane. Be careful of signs that say speed limit is airplane enforced! It is no joke. Anyways, your friend got a ticket for wreckless riding? Your in luck then, that is easily won. I know someone who's gotten out of 3 "wheelie" tickets, put down as wreckless riding. Check the law out in your state. Wreckless riding is pretty specific, as in, intention to put someone elses life in danger, like aiming your vehicle towards someone trying to run them over. And you can't get a "wheelie ticket" cause there is no law that says, you can not do a wheelie. I'm sure its close enough in your state, let me know if you wanna get in touch with this guy, he's really good at shit like this. Tell him what happened and he's really good at giving advice on this.
