Could change the springs ... I think thats it. Rockin C Racing 09-09-2005, 06:57 AM I hope you are not riding on the street with the front strapped down? I've lowered the front through the trees only an inch to match the rear, but at the track I strap it down and then release it for the street. Just FYI. rdbaron9 09-09-2005, 10:44 AM check your tire pressure, a few lbs. can be a huge difference UpOnOne 09-09-2005, 11:29 AM Be careful you dont blow out your seals! 99turbo750 09-10-2005, 01:23 PM Is this bike for full drag race or street and drag?? if just drag i wouldnt lower ur tripple tree. that changes rake and alot of stuff. U can acually lower your forks with pvc pipe depending on the type of fork you have. since u have a 600, i assume u have standard forks. u can put a piece in your fork to limit the travel. just a idea for u. Or u can buy my forks and triple tree for a 99 750 that are already lowered 2 inchs tsi95_89tsi 09-10-2005, 08:29 PM yeah iv been on the streets for over a month with the front tied down its not a full out dragbike i just loved that slamed look i want to have that look with out hurting the bike. i can even take the corner way low with out draging anything i just cant take the smallest bump! can you u give me step buy step how to lower my tree? 99turbo750 09-13-2005, 06:29 PM its not hard, u have to loosen your triple tree clamps, upper and lower and move the tube up in the triple tree. I believe the bolts to be 12mm no 100% on that. and get a metric tape and make sure that both of your tubes are the same height, and then torque your triple tree clamps back down. Just to let you know, this will make the bike turn faster, but will make it loose ground clearance and higher speed stability. Good luck, be safe. tsi95_89tsi 09-13-2005, 06:47 PM thanks for the help guys ill see if this works to give me a lil more rebond in the front 01gixxer 09-18-2005, 11:55 AM Heres a pic of my old gixxer after i lowered it. See how the fork tubes are slid through the clamps. This was lowed 3"

I low sided it twice which is why there is no stickers on the side. Where it looks notched out in the front i hit a dog and it got wedged right there breaking the shit out of both sides of my fairings. I had to clean fur and guts off, it sucked. flygsxr 09-20-2005, 04:30 PM yanashiki.com has extensions for 180-200 dollars whtthundysc 09-20-2005, 06:54 PM I low sided it twice which is why there is no stickers on the side.
