This is from Competition Werkes
I just picked one up for my bike and it looks very clean.
The plate holder bolts to the rear fender (one bolt) and pivots on a roller so if it does touch the undertail it flexes. It also comes with a great looking light.

I made my own and spent 1.05. I wanted to tuck mine way up under like that but when I endo the tail would've crushed the plate. So I kept mine back some but there's no bracket what so ever. Just 2 L-brackets that you can't even see! So see 1.05 compared to 117.00 no thanks.
I do like that that one pivots though, pretty cool idea!

I would like to put something together myself but I need a light on the plate for night riding and can't come up with anything.

I have the sideways, curved, swingarm plate holder with no light and have never been hassled for it. I got yanked for having mine where yours is Kman. Looks clean though bro..that pivot option is tight..

Yeah the pivot seems cool. You should paint the metal piece that goes where the old fender bolted on.

Its well worth the $ and comes with all the wire, connectors, zip ties and wire sheathing. It also comes with the blank out plate to cover the old dead space where the fender was. (nice allen bolts). It takes all of about 30 min to install.
