yeah...getting a bare-bones bike like that would be pretty neat if i had the extra fundage to piece it all together...custom paint, powdercoat some shit here n' there..altho i see the rearsets are already taken care of :thumbup:

that's the bike in my avatar. i have a lot of stuff comin' soon. to start, wheels, rotors, pads, chain, sprockets, bodywork, faring stay, dash w/lap timer, exhaust, power commander. getting rid of all the smog crap.

oh, and a quickshifter, and paint. i’ll post pics when it’s done and painted. sometime before april.

Hi mate. Sounds great. I just got back from picking up mu project this winter. Its a 1985 GSXR750 and this winter I will turn it in to a stretFighter. Im not 100% surea about the plan yet as the this bike kind of fell into my hands. I live in Norway up by the arctic cirle and there was snow in the air and on the road when I crossed a mountain on my way home from geting the bike today :-) Im exited and looking forward to see more of your plans and photos. it was black and orange. i took the orange stickers off. it's getting painted race body work this winter

are you from the Bay area? i think you said you have been to Thunder Hill in Willows. how's that track? i have my 20 yr high school reunion this july in Willows. i am gonna try and drive out there on vacation and bring my bike. just wondering about the track.

bodywork is here. it's just mocked up in the photo. i was in the middle of fitting it up and drilling fastener holes. looks like the tail is going to need a little love to get it to fit better. and then, paint! wheels and rotors coming soon. hopefully. if not i'm going to have to go over to PVM in Germany and give 'em a little... :chucks:
