Hm...I wonder why I was thinking you were in FL...
yea still over here, but oh so close to getting out of here!
    I understand being busy...just know you're missed!
I'm sure you can make your life more balanced. Been riding a lot? I keep hearing back home that it's nice out...which just is a big tease. Big pain about it, is that I bought my parents a snowthrower while over here, since I wouldn't be home, and they never got snow. Instead I had to shovel a flightline! Not fair I say.
I'm hoping to know by the time your life is in order if I'm moving.
But, before I write you an entire novel...Stay well! Hope you can visit us more often

HAHA thanks. I saw it online (bigger picture, chasing luke with R2 on the back of the bike) but I cut out that part, and it fits. My bike is all black, and since im a Star Wars nut, I have a Darth Vader lego keychain for the bike! Yes...I'm a nerd...but I like to think it adds to my charm ;)

Ha I guess you have a point. There's plenty of time before I am down there though...so we shall see. Small mildstones for now you know?
I can't wait to get riding again that's for sure!

    Yup...in the military...Surprise!
I may have found some "solution" to the headlamp thing, but I would have to play around with it, and it would end up be buying a new headlamp just to make sure it was done in a way I liked. The last one was exciting, but I wound up being really disappointed. The hardest part of it all was all the wasted time and lot ride time. Oh wells.
I will be in FL this summer, debating whether or not to bring the bike. Decisions decisions...

Hey there. Yea it got installed. I haven't been on the site in a really long time since my summer got crazy busy, and then I deployed to Afghanistan! Good times right? The unfortunate part of the whole mods bit, was that I was very unhappy with how the headlamp turned out with my mods, and then something broke inside of it. Long story short, I ended up jsut putting a stock headlamp back in it. Shame since it was a waste of money really.
Hopefully you and everyone on here are doing well! Again I'm sorry I haven't been in touch with pretty much anyone since I left.

    Ok. Thanks.
You may get your way and I may just attach my slip on. There has been some teeny drama in my immediate family, and I may not be able to mod out til next year (even though I have the parts for the most part)
    I'll keep you posted!

Nope. According to their site you have the pos and neg connections. Then there is a switched power. Basically three outside connections for full functionality of the box. I get how the fuse placement makes it work either way. I can take a look at your blog again later tonight. I rem looking at it before, but wasn't looking for the switched power line.
And my fourth was good...went to Boston. Was pretty awesome.

Hey there. Hope you had a great fourth.
And I have another mod question for you...I'm about to order my fuzeblock either sometime now at work or when I get home in a few hours. Did you wire it up so that you had the switch power along with the constant power? And if so, where did you end up wiring it to? Sorry to be pestering, but I greatly appreciate it. Thanks ahead of time!

I'm guessing the PC3 is optimized for your year bike. I haven't read enough about it since i have a slipon to know the benefits of the newer version. Will be curious to hear the results!

    Nice! Sounds like a blast!

I worked for awhile yesterday, went to my Dad's for his firework extravaganza and did some more house work afterwards..no sleep till Brooklyn ...To top it all off I have bike stuff to do too. Ditched the Bazzaz setup for a PC 3, R1 calipers, a Brembo master and new brake pads..This stupid mod addiction is ridiculous

Its some fancy name calling..the Exhaust Control Valve and EXCVA ("A" being "Actuator") are the more technical names. Suzuki calls the system the SET (Suzuki Emission Tuning)..In case you were curious, the purpose is to let the valve close in low RPM situations, which creates back pressure, in turn creating more torque.

How was your 4th of July? Lots of drunken parties with strangers in Vegas?

Yea well...I'll let you in on a secret...
I'm doing quite a few mods, and I want to do them all at the same time, instead of trickling through them you know?
One of the things is new brake lines. I got the Spiegler line kit, and they look pretty sweet. With that, the last thing I need to do is accidently get brake fluid on anything.
Unfortunately some of the stuff I wanted to get is taking its sweet time getting here, but I will most likely start the mod process once I get my new ballasts in. (exchanged them for longer ones).
Gotta love doing projector retrofits. I just hope the whole thing fits! (nervous!)
Don't worry...I'll give you a personal invite to the thread once I ever start it!

Yea I heard that the nite shades sucked, so that's why I'm a little hesitant...have you wound up clearcoating at all? Or just the paint itself?
The exhaust comes in wednesday, but I won't be putting it on for a couple weeks. I ended up going with the R-77D from yosh. Just the slip on. :)

Hi friend...would you recommend the nite shades? i've heard mixed reviews on them, so now I'm kinda hesitant.
Saw you used them on your blog and would just like to get your thoughts now that you've had it for some time. Thanks! You rock!
