Hey guys i have a 2007 gsxr 750. I want to know Everything i can do to get more power out of my motor?
:laughingr :thumbup:Best way to keep up with your mates would be to improve your skill, or failing that find slower mates.
. +1 me if i had 5k I would just get the 1000. What i don't understand is why not get the 1k instead of modingOP I understand the answers your getting arent what you wanna hear so heres one you wanna hear...
Turbo it.
If you know anything about bikes you know that HP through engine mods on these things costs a pretty penny. You could EASILY spend that 5k cash and not come any where near the 30 ponies your short of a litre bike. What can you do you ask? What cant you do? Its an engine. Stroke it a lil, head work, cams, lighter internals, gearing (you blew it off, not sure why)...the sky is the limit.
Your question is little strange thats all. The best bang for the buck when it comes to bikes isnt internals, its all bolt ons, tunes and RIDER. If its straight line speed you want, 5k will get you a nice turbo set up if you wanna smoke 1ks in the twisties then spend your mod money on track days.
Best way to do.it is that way. Gonna take longer any other wayanother thing how do i remove the stickers off my bike. someone said hair dryer let it warm up and start pealing. I tried and that will take to long. any better ideas?
Take some of your cash and have them professionally removed.another thing how do i remove the stickers off my bike. someone said hair dryer let it warm up and start pealing. I tried and that will take to long. any better ideas?

This guy is likely very happy he joined the forum:headshakeTake some of your cash and have them professionally removed.
I know there is no way to prove it at all but Id put a pay check on the fact that there is less then 5 members on this board who can post competitive times on a 1k on a track of their choice. The comments of learn to ride the 750 and you will stomp the litre bikes in the twisties, we are not all under skilled idiots that cant ride our 1000 in the corners.
I see your argument, but most people are not taking about pro riders. They are comparing your average people out riding their bikes on the weekends and the odd track days(if you are lucky).I know there is no way to prove it at all but Id put a pay check on the fact that there is less then 5 members on this board who can post competitive times on a 1k on a track of their choice.
With out even meeting them Id also say that some one like JFM on his 750 or SP220 or good ol Youdaman would run circles around those same 5 1ks on their smaller CC bikes.
Look I too own a 1k, I get it the power is nice to have but its def not needed and its also not an option for the OP. This thread is getting way off base and slightly ridiculous.
Patience grasshoppa :headshakeanother thing how do i remove the stickers off my bike. someone said hair dryer let it warm up and start pealing. I tried and that will take to long. any better ideas?
6gears has spoken, now leave here OP, and don't return till you have redeemed yourself. Here's what concerns me about this thread.
"well i started with dirt bikes. Then i got my bike. And i keep up with 1000s / catch up in corners. but as soon as we lean up... BAM.. "
Wonderful. He played around in the dirt, now he has his street first bike, a very fast bike, and he's racing in the street. He's not asking "how can I become a better rider" or "How can I be better out of the corners" which leads me to believe he thinks he's already there. I'll bet my shiny new laptop that he's not even close. So I'll tell you what's gonna happen. He's gonna build his motor, get caught screaming wide out of a corner and wind up as a hood ornament on an oncoming car. I just don't get it :headshake .

dirt bikes handle about the same as street bikes, say whaaaat? :headscrati know im not the best rider. I have driven other street bikes its just MY 1st bike i have owned. and use to ride my dirt bikes on the dirt AND sence where i live its in the middle of no where i use to drive my bike on the roads more then the dirt. they handle about the same as the street bikes. they are just lighter and the have lack of get up and go. Compared to a street bike.
