I have a 2008 600. I noticed that my rear tire seems a tad bit on the small side. What are you guys using?

How big of a tire can I use?

180/55 puts down more rubber in a turn than a 190/50 also it cost less and weights less so it helps with acceleration.

Stock tires size should be a 180/50.

First number "180" is the size of the tire and the 2nd number "55" is the height of the tire. Which effects how much rubber you lay down in a turn.

Bought my bike with the 200 on it and bought new tires last year, kept a 200 since that's what it had. They sucked on the twisties this past weekend. I kept thinking it was me until I read up on it. Can't wait till I can swap down to the 180 or 190. :headshake
