most people just use bolt on extentions for the stock yr arm they havel, its cheaper and the good thing i like is u can put it back stock without buying a new arm

If your under 220hp stay with extensions, much cheaper. Just lower the shit out of it.

yup ^^^he got it right. Less than 200-220whp you'll be fine with extensions.

I had a thread very similar to this one not to long ago. You should be able to scroll down and find it. I think you will find your answer's in there and get a chuckle or two along the way!

X2...thats one of my fav. posts, but you'll be straight with bolt-on's up to 200 hp, brother. Just make sure you put lock-tite on the bolts.

Yeah, that was a good thread. What they all said is true. stretching a bike is just like any other mod you do, theres varibles to it, just like everything else, How serious, how much money you want to spend, what kind of bike?

so if you go with the extensions do you have to add links to your chain or get a new chain.

I make Bolt on extensions for the Water cooled GSXR 1100. I also have a polished Swingarm for a 95 GSXR 1100. If you decide to get Bolt on extensions I suggest getting a 95 and up GXR 1100 swingarm since both sides are straight.

Default 93 gsxr extensions

I have a 93 gsxr 1100 and am looking for swing arm extensions for it. Does anyone have a clue where to find them? Thanks.

No one makes extensions for the 93 and 94 GSXR 1100. It has what is called "The Banana swingarm". You will have to get a 95 GSXR 1100 swingarm in order to install bolt on extensions.

I have a thompson chromoly arm on my gsxr 1k. Im going to buy another arm from them for my busa and maybe go longer on my 1k with a new arm. They have a nice product, good pricing and awesome costumer service.

can't get any better with the quality. I've had mine on since December of 2010. Love it. With it being a stretched arm. It's lighter and stronger than the stock SWB arm.

I just bought a +10 swingarm for my 06 gsxr 600. I love the ride and can still hug corners pretty good. This is my first bike and only had it for 2 weeks.

i had 9" extensions on my 600, i should be getting my evil arm for my 1000 next week- 14 over. i didnt have much problem with the handling on the 600 bc the way i ride is not the extavagant. i wouldnt say i had chicken strips as much as i had chicken thighs. when i needed new tires is was because the center was wore out rather than the sides.
i think the most the ride was affected was doing u turns, just had to have more room to torun around bc of the radius
