Default 07 gsxr 600 sprocket?

I am not new to riding I have owned a 04 gsxr 600 since new and put 34k on her now I just bought a k7 600. I had a 15/47 sprocket on the 04 and loved that set up. I have noticed the k7 has a 43 tooth rear. I am trying to get my k7 similllar to the torque of my 04 If I go to a 15/47 sprocket set up on the k7 will it be to much or would a 15/45 be more equivalent. Im sure they went to a lower sprocket cause of transmission gearing but the k7 doesn't have near the torque my 04 did even with stock gearing.

well it depends how u ride your bike. I have a k6 600 with 15/46 and love it, but im more of a drag racer..i just pulled on my boy with a 03 z1000 tonght. I see most peeps on here go -1 +2 ...and i think 15/47 would be a lil too much, u will be crusing at a higher rpm and burning alot more gas..but would be torquey as hell

-1 on front and +2 or +3 on the rear should be good. I like -1/+3 personally.

Most all track day guys run these setups. Good accelleration and torque in most all gears without having to rev the crap out of it to stay in the powerband.

I am not drag racing the bike I would just like it to have some more low end torque. If I went with the -1/+3 how would that effect my highway driving and top end? Would it be running pretty high rpms at 80?

maybe 7-8k rpms. it wont be that bad, thats what i had on my 07 600. post up some pics of it. (they are better if posted from photobucket.com or imageshack.com)

Thanks guys for all the input I think ill start with -1/+2 and go up from there if I need to. I would like to post a pic but I use my cell phone for internet and not sure how to make that work
