Smile 2005 Gsx-r1000

I just went and put a down payment on the new 2005 gsxr1000.
for those of you who are interested in buying this one. i would recommend buying it from the same place. If you are in the TEXAS are you definitely want to call these guys. Grandbury Motorsports. 800-800-2851.
i am not showing price but it is the best deal around and worth the few mile to get it. though i have to wait until march to pick it up but i have the best deal. call them ask for nick. and say the guy who ordered the black 2005 gsxr1000 told you about them. they mean business. and i am sure if you are ready to buy one they will be the one you buy from. check it. let me know if it is ok posting such a thread.

and why would you not tell us how much you bought it for? Kinda kills the whole point of the thread doesn't it?

Hmm, do you work at the dealership and your just trying to get free advertising?

Did you get the All black or the black and Gray? I'm not sure if you can get the all Black in Canada or the States, but its available in the UK, and it looks wild. Congrats on the new bike

who cares, its functional...the only way to get big power gains without makin it loud as hell is to make it fatter. most of you have aftermarket exhausts anyway...

ski, aren't you a mod? delete this shit for the dealership advertisin here...

Ask for nick and tell em the guy who orded the 05 black 1000 sent ya. thats funny.

well most dealerships arent coming down on price. and the bike ended up being under 11k$ OTD and sticker is 10,849. every where i checked wanted min. 12,300 OTD. so i hope that helps. i dont work for that company and it is not for free ADV. i just felt that this price was awesome and would like to share it with future 2005 gsxr 1000 owners. also other bike they had were excellent price too. only reason i said to say the guy who just ordered it is because i am the first one to put a deposit down on it from them. thats fine if you want to be skeptical about price. all you have to do is call them. you can pay more and go somewhere else you are still getting a great bike. I order the black and grey. Cheers

yes I'm a mod but it doesn't seem like he's advertising for the dealership. I'll read it a little better when I'm not so damn tired.

If any one of you guys are from NY. You can go ahead and visit this site or the dealership. It's really a good deal. You get around $800 to $1000 from the Original Manufacture Price.

Ugly as the 1K exhaust is, it can be replaced with a more astetically pleasing shape of exhaust.

Paying basically full price but free labor and discounts on add-ons... if you calculagte labor to put some things on it is better to do it this way in the end it comes out a hell of alot cheaper and anything the dealer puts on keeps the warrenty in tacted if not then your dealing with the wrong dealer...

I like the exhaust. It's different but I think it looks good. if you don't like it.

I went after the all black LE at first, but couldn't get it. Had to settle for the Blue and white. The exhust seems to have grown and me quite a bit, and it doesn't sound that bad at all.

I'm now in the process of painting the bike the Corona Alstare scheme . I'll post up a couple of pics when its done. In saying that. Does anyone know if you can buy full leathers (Corona)to match the bike.

You know whats tough about purchasing a sportbike is that no one will let you test drive one and I can't blame them. This is my 4th bike and I've had 1 Suzuki (my 1st yrs ago ) and 3 Honda's. I have the 600rr now and prior was the F4 which I felt great on.Last July I started looking at the 636, 600rr and Suzuki's 750. Out of all 3 I liked the undertail exhaust of the Honda. Did not like how the 636 felt sitting on it. The Suzuki felt about the same as the Honda, and so I went with the Honda again because of the past and no test ride on the Suzuki. Well I've had it for almost a yr now and about only 1200 miles and I just dont feel as comfortable on this 600rr as I would like. I made the mistake this week and sat on the new 1000 GSXR and I love the narrow tank and how I felt on the bike, it feels smaller the the RR . I really don't need the power of the 1000 , but the 750 and 600 Suzuki's feel different. The Ducati's have the narrow tank also which I like. My wife got wind of the idea of me selling the Honda and she said i'm crazy

Let me tell you, the new thou feels and handles as good or better than any other bike I've been on. Including any 600's. Scary really. Crazy is all in your mind. Go for it.

I had a ART dual tip exhaust back ordered for a month and it just came in , so I'll probably sell the pipe seperate instead of installing it. With it on it won't increase the value as much and I can probably get $475 or so for the pipe seperately. And they have a blue 1000 in stock, well they did 2 days ago?
