Tourist Trophy
Tourist Trophy for PS2. Just saw the commercial, anybody know anything about it? Says it's made by the same people who do the Gran Tourismo. I've never played those but they all get bought so they gotta be at least alright.

Releases tomorrow. Don't know how high demand is but I put my deposit down a few weeks ago to ensure that I can get a copy. Heard from a few people that got the Japanese version that was released a while ago and to my understanding the control is somewhat difficult to get used to but that the simulation is very very good.

I have it the intro is great, I've only been able to play arcade mode due to some issue of it not saving to mem card. Trying to resolve that.
But I like it, The leaning sorta sucks. I can never seem to lean it over as much as the me or the bike should. Can never get to the inside edge on a high speed turn. tracks are great, graphics are good.

Game is the shit Really hard to get cornering down right but once you do it's really cool to watch yourself hit the apexes perfectly. Graphics are tight. The game gets especially sick when you get a hold of the 1000's. Got a Racing Modified ZX-10R that does 200+

just FYI...had a couple friends over doing oil changes, having a few brews and such and we all came in so I could show them this game....yeah...drinking and playing this game do not go well together! Really makes me wonder how people could drink and ride...

The game is sick, you have to play it for a while to really start enjoying it. I can't wait until GP 4 comes out.

Verrry freaking haaaaaard! I have had Xbox for years and just bought my first PS2 yesterday. Tourist Trophy is the first game I have played on the PS2. It will take some getting used to (say hours). I am going to look and see if I can find a PS2 controller with the Xbox style trigger on the controller. To me that would be easier to control the throttle. It is a real pain to turn (lean) the left stick and use the right to control the throttle and front brake.
Awesome graphics I must say.

I haven't been able to check it out but, can you use the "X" button as gas? I know in GT you could use either the right stick, or "x" button..since it's pressure sensative it made it easier while retaining the throttle control of the stick

Tourist Trophy
Definitely a buyer. I got Tourist Trophy and haven't stopped playing so far. The graphics and sound are amazing, and there are like 35 international tracks to choose from. The Challenge mode is really complex too - you can basically customize everything and anything. You gotta check it out!

It's Gran Turismo with bikes and then some. The graphics are incredible but the real kicker is the realism of the handling and movements in the game. The different levels are awesome too. Mo-peds all the way up to super bikes. Try the photo mode if you get a chance.

I haven't played this, but my old favorite was Road Rash on genesis.
Loved that crap as a kid.
