Default air box mods???????????

i got a 2000 gsxr 750 with a 813 orient express motor kit in it with cams and the whole 9 yards no expence was spared when orient built this bad boy but any way i was wondering if any one could help me out with some air box mods for this thing and i was wondering if you ever tried and how much you gained. hell i might even get rid of it for a 1000 motor. just not enough anymore, need more speed

You can make a airbox out of your gas tank will will be all the air you need and basically you would seal the tank to frame ( older 93-95 ZX7RR used this) I think that you should or would be fine with what you have but you asked for a way and there you go. Your would have to really go into details to get it right as air pressureize and all this and that and you would have to configure with the larger volume to have a bigger outlets etc etc . Lots of research that is not really needed

Get the crank case vent out of that airbox. If it hasn't been removed already, that's a start.

Here's a page I made w/some views of what a basic crank case vent removal can do:
