Default 1990 GSXR 1100 Rear Shock

I was taking apart the GSXR 1100 that I just picked up and I found a problem with the rear shock. The line from the shock to the external reservoir has a kink and it is leaking black fluid. Can the line be replaces and then shock recharged? What does this shock get recharged with? Is it even worth my time or should I try and find another used one?

Let me know your thoughts or ideas.

Just for reference the 2005 Hayabusa shock does not work on the 1990 GSXR1100. It comes in contact with the battery box.

Thank you.
