Default GSXR600 06's

I just read a little about the 06' R6's. 17500 red line! WOW that is crazy. Look and sound pretty mean!! I love my K5 600 GSXR but looks like the R6s may dominate 06. I hope suzuki's K6 spanks there crack. Also when is the 06 gsxr's released? Kawasaki and yamaha have already relased them, or at least info on them.

No matter how the 06's look I love my K5 GSXR600 and I think it was a good decision. I had it on the DYNO Wed night and I am very happy with the out come.

i was at the dealership yesterday picking up my gel seat and they had a 06 1k on the floor (acually there was a guy there filling out the papers to buy it) so i would imagine the 600s and 750s should be close to the showrooms

I think the k5 600's are awesome and have been rated as the best handling 600 out there and the smoothest throttle delivery in so many damn mags its hard to keep up. I got my k5 for $13500 AUD which is an absolute bargain ova here so If your mathematically inclined you'd work it out in US$. There's always hype with new bikes but 17500 rpm redline I'll wait for the reviews cos if you all remember we got 15000 rpm on the tach but it doesn't even reach that! Even the new k5 1000 ok bloody awesome bike but you can pick up a k3 or k4 1000 for 11 -13500 dollars ova here 2nd hand with less than 10000kms on the clock. Put a full system on there with a power commander and that thing would cost up round 15-16 g's and it would be a god damn 160hp weapon. A k5 1000 goes for 21g's on road ova here so you'd saved 5-6grand and be able to have a holiday or get some nice leathers. I'm not tryin to kill the thrill of new bike releases but I just had to put in my 2 cents.

k5 600 venom can, ozzy knobs, harris grips, c bar ends and so on and so on

The dealer meeting for Suzuki Motorcycle and ATV Dealers isnt until the end of September (maybe the beginning of October - I cant remember). Suzuki is keeping VERY QUIET about the K6 600 and the K6 750. We dont have a clue what they are going to look like. Normally, Suzuki starts shipping the product about a week or two after the dealer meeting. The K6 1000 didnt change any with the exception of colors. Im currently in Clearwater, FL for a Motorcycle Stuff dealer meeting and Scorpion Exhaust has a K6 1000 that a local dealer let them take on loan with thier new exhaust for it. You thought the new exhaust on the 1000 was going to take some getting used to.......wait till you see the exhaust that Scorpion made for it.

I saw an 06 R6 today while at the barbershop lol a guy who was getting his haircut there had one.eh..... it was nothing special... the white/red was nice looking, but nothing I'd do a double take for...

How'd the dyno run go? I'm very curious to know what other K5's are doing. I'm hoping to dyno mine soon.

Be weary of any pictures you have seen. Suzuki hasn't and won't release the info until after the dealer convention. Don't expect to see them on the showroom floor until Winter...February-ish last year.

Sport Rider has pics of them in this months issue. They are pretty sweet looking. I can't wait to see the specs though.
