07 gsxr 600

need help i have a 07 gsxr 600 and i was recently trying to check my rectifier connecter because i seen it was melted and i forgot to disconnect the battery and when i went to unplug the connecter the 4 pins came out the plug and touched for not even a second a quick spark and that was it, long story short put the bag in the plug and connected the battery and i have no power to the cluster could i have fried the ecu or blew a relay check all the fuzes none were blown any help is appreciated..

Ouch.

Have you checked the main fuse (30A). Itís the first thing if you follow the red power cable from the battery?

Just follow the positive/red cable from the battery to the first component. That is the starter relay.

There is a 30A main fuse installed and there should be a spare there also.

thank you you save me a lot of money almost pulled the trigger on a ecu check the fuze and it was blown !

thank you for the input checked the fuse and it was blown piped the spare in bike fired right up !

Glad it was only the fuse. You might want to buy another spare. I bet you wonít forget to disconnect the battery (negative terminal first) next time you work on the bike.

You can get a box of the 30 amp fuses for a couple dollars at any auto parts store. I've done the same thing before too.
