Sports Clutch

Anyone know of any good sports clutch companies? A guy I work with(oddly enough, he used to ride with ruff riders when they first started up) said I need to get one.

Just regular riding/relearning. But I understand where he's coming from on that. When I'm building a car for someone, even if its minor stuff, I never recommend a stock clutch. I always go for a stage 2 or better depending on what's being done. But at the same time, cost wise, Id rather go with stock stuff. But if cost ain't too bad, sports clutch would take the abuse I'm about to give it.

You're probably right. But I've been known to spend money on wasteful things. But I will take it into consideration though. Since bikes aren't my expertise, I take in all advise and comments people have to give. It's just being respectful to those that have been there before me.

Bike's not a car Our "stock" clutches were made for super sport bikes, they weren't made with the same mindset stock civic clutches were made with

Gotcha. So basically go with stock frictions and check the spec on steels and replace as necessary?

Correct. "Racing" clutches for sportbikes, e.g. Barnett, are intended for drag racing but are otherwise an impediment for normal riding, track riding and racing due to a heavier pull. You will be happiest with an OEM clutch.
