Alternatively, sell your bike and buy a Harley.

GSXR 1000: Always purchase a liter bike, because it is the most economic choice.

Lol thanks just nick! Im not much of a Harley fit orI’m not looking to chrome out my whole bike but I’m not a fan of the black wheels I will say black is much better than the white wheels I had on my old 750 they would look like poop driving around the block after a wash!

Take your stock wheels and have them polished, polished aluminum is beautiful, chrome on wheels will chip and flake off.
These are polished wheels off my project bike.

This was my old 06 1000 with polished wheels

Awsome idea thank you for the idea, and that’s a beautiful bike! I will have too look into where I could have it done and how much it cost. I would hate to be with out my bike a few days maybe longer to have it done but it may be worth it! I’m considering sending my Ecu out for a flash anyway I’ll be with out a bike a week or 2 anyway if I try to do it at the same time I may be digging in the couch every day for lunch money lol but sometimes u got to do wat u got to do!

That's what guys used to do in the 90's - polish the wheels. But once you do it, it's maintenance. Not a fan of the look myself, but to each his own.

Thank you all for your opinions and info I really do appriciate negative and positive ones! No 1 yet has answered my original question tho does anyone know wat yr wheels are compatible on a 06 1000 or know where I can find a cross reference chart or something similar. Every one seems too say 05-06 are the same bike but the more I reference parts many items are 06-07 I still can’t find info on google on wheels!?!?

Other than looking at OEM part numbers through vendors, have you seen this?
