But do you remember what he did to the settings on your suspension. I need to mess with mine. My rebound is not right on the front, it dips down too much when I brake. I'm not liking it at all. Yea had stock stuff set up for my weight, and came to the conclusion that either the front wasn't set up properly or the springs aren't sufficient for my weight. They put a zip tie in the middle of the bottom of the fork after they dialed it in, and I pretty much buried it after the track day.

I'll take a pic of it as I'm working on the bike today
Pics to follow.

Wow, I actually shipped mine to Vortex and they swapped them for V2s and 50% price. So they technically paid me $209 for them. You should do the same thing.

Pics of installs of the vortex clip ons, vortex rear sets, motion pro Rev2 throttle, R6 Brembo M/C, and new FP Lever. Thanks to clean02 for coming by and helping me out, and my dog Bones for doing 360s and eating our onion dip.

Lol thanks bro. He is an awesome dog!! I've had that rear hugger for a while. The rearsets are set all the way up and back and it feels awesome with the 7 degree clip ons. Definitely more aggressive.

I found out today that I need to order a race fairing stay, mine is broken, and I also need a woodcraft resevoir bracket.

Yea thanks man, I can't wait either and very curious as well about the tank cover. Didn't even know they made them for gsxrs, but they sent me pics of other sets they made for my bike.

I just Powdercoated the rims in August so I'm hoping just a rim stripe in blue or green will be enough.. If not I will look into the plasti dip if I can find a color that matches real well I'll be stoked.

Came to the conclusion that building a track bike is VERY expensive!!

When I was looking for a stay, I wanted to spend the least amount possible but also get a quality product, which is everyone's goal for most things I think.

Found the R&R Racing stay looks pretty much identical to the yoyodyne but is $75 cheaper.

How was the fitment with the Graves? I was looking at them, yoyodyne and vortex until I found the R&R. I heard the vortex ones aren't that great fit wise, and yoyodyne was perfect, but nothing about the graves.

Thanks, good to know. I'm sure the R&R will fit, but if not I know graves will work.

They are really nice. The paint work is a little shoddy here and there, but for the amount I paid for it, I can't complain.

I'm gonna be drilling a lot of holes as these come undrilled. The tank cover is gonna be interesting I'll be sure to post up all the details of the fitment.

All I know is I need to stay away from these YouTube videos of track days and yalls track bike threads. It's going to pressure me into throwing the 600 motor into another frame and build a track bike... Eeeeeehhhhh tell me to don't do it. Lol

You should DEFINITELY do that!! I can't wait to bring my bike back to the track next season.

This.

Just do it. You'll never regret it, even when your digging for change in the couch to buy a package of ramen.

Oh I'm sure.. I was watching videos earlier of Dave Moss tuning people's bikes at the track. I just have a bad addiction when it comes to cars and bikes. I can't just leave it as is. For instance I'm trying to get my hands on a 93-98 supra and of coarse drop but loads into it.. Now if I get a track bike also or start building one it's going to be a never ending ordeal for me. Lol.... I mean it'll be extremely hard for me to settle for the bare minimum. I'll always want better even if I don't really need it. It's a bad addiction I'm telling you.

I'm going to consider doing it though. Shit I'd love to just buy LW's track bike.

I bought my race bike for $2900. No need for anything else except tires. Well besides protection for me. That is a drop in the bucket compared to anything you will want to do to a car.

Track bikes are real cheap compared to cars...id say scrap the Supra idea and go for LWs already fully prepped bike (with clean title) which doesn't happen too often in the track bike world.

You will thank us when you're having a blast at the track, but curse us when your bank account is -$165

UUH how dare you say scrap the supra idea.. Lmfao.. I've always wanted one..

Well I've got some time to decide if I want to add a track bike to the collection. LW's is super nice.

Naw bank account will never be negative. My "zero" balance is waaaaayyyy higher then zero. Lol... I'm pretty good about my money. I just have to stop myself when it comes to modding the bike or when I do have my cars.

So got the Penske and it was not very nice, AT ALL!

Sent pics of it to Thermosman, and he said it would be about $250-300
To fix the rust that was on it. Dude listed it as dirty on eBay but it was rusted not dirty.

Shipped it back today, and will most likely be putting the suspension off until it's necessary. Will put the $ into improving my skill level.

That sucks man. Nothing wrong with stock suspension until you get faster.

Yea that's what I figured...I mean the bike still runs and turns so it's not a necessity...I get ahead of myself sometimes.

Just added...Penske Triple!!

So much for not doing the suspension now...came across a Penske Triple that I could not resist...it was less than the double and in excellent shape.

I will be putting the fairings on Tuesday pics to follow.

So ran into some issues with this fairing kit. I have reached out to Auctmarts and I am waiting for a resolution. I'm confident in the fact that they care about their customers and will try to make it right.(hopefully)

So the lower doesn't fit due to the exhaust I have. I asked them about fitment and they told me a stock exhaust would fit so I assumed the M4 would but it doesn't.

The superbike tail didn't come with a brace, so I cannot sit on the bike until I fab one up.

The tank cover has the same mounting hole as the tail so I'll have to drill through both pieces and use the same bolt to hold it in. I don't know about that but I'm gonna try to make it work I guess. It just doesn't look right IMO.

Here are some pics...

I read through the thread, it sounds like you dumped it on the street and not the track. Am I reading it right?

Good luck with your track dreams. I haven't been back to the track since my off, but I did turn around and buy a 15 s1krr so that set my track funds back for this year. Tryna setup my track day for 2016 now.

Are those WC sliders your using. When my k6 high sided in the grass I had your standard street bike unlimited pegs and they did the same thing, bent back 90 degrees facing rear tire. Hopefully shorter sliders like wc will prevent that.

Yea def crashed on the street.
Those are woodcraft sliders, I'm hoping these will be better than the $120 motovation ones. Even more hoping they never hit the ground.

thanks for the kind words, much appreciated. Hope you get back on the track soon man.

You picked a sick bike to buy I love the bmw. What color did you get?

Ghost mode lol haven't seen you on here in a while, busy??
