Problems with my 86' Slabbie 1100

Purchased a 86' gsxr 1100g for like ten bucks and it was running pretty ok, went to get gas the other day, came home, wouldnt start. No electricity at all. everyone is saying there is a button under the seat but the harness is so chopped up i know they pulled that reset. any help? it was a ground out from gas tank to frame. no fuses are blown or anything like that.. thank you in advance.

Welcome.

I'm sure you're not hoping for any specific advise as it sounds like you have a modified old bike.

Try www.carlsalter.com for a service manual and look at the wiring diagram in the back.

After that, a voltmeter or test light is your friend.

Garage
One thing I would check if you haven't is the ground connection on the bike.
Dissimilar metals this old will cause corrosion.

That reset button is on the bottom of the battery box if its still there.

I love you dad, you'll be greatly missed.
I'll always keep on keeping on.
