Tank Dent

Pulled off the tank cover on the left side only to discover a dent. It’s on the corner of the tank, but it looks like a fairly easy fix. Would you guys recommend removing the gas cap and just pushing it out or removing the entire tank and fix it?

My opinion is that the metal is pretty sharply creased around the dent and so the dent will not come out easily. Even if you do push it out somewhat, there will still be plenty of wavy metal left.

I'm guessing you can't see it with the front cover on, so I would just install the cover and forget about it.
