Need help

I have a 1989 Suzuki gsxr 750 and it's not starting and the carbs are flooding I can get it to start sometimes but it dies short after

Welcome.

That is not much information, but from your description I would guess that one or more of the carb float needle valves is not seating.

Petcock may be shot as well. Sounds to me it's time to pull those carbs and go through them. Was this bike sitting for a while?

Wondering if one or more floats has sprung a leak and filled up with gas. Any fuel running out of an overflow ?
