They may be last gen (Q2) but couldn't pass up $150 for a set! Let the stockpiling begin!

Nice choice in upgrades.
Are you using the Q2's and Q3's for the spare rims on the track only?
They are both great tires but if you are going through the effort to have spare rims then get some DOT race tires or even slicks. You will feel like a GOD on the track especially if you are quick enough to ride faster than the Q's will allow.

That's kind of the question until I get back out there. I raced an SV650 all of the 2004 season until I broke my back and would have been an expert in 2005, but haven't been on track since. Tire technology has come a long way since then and I have no idea where I'm going to be quickness-wise yet. The plan is to start out on the Q2/Q3s and see if I think I'm going hard enough to warrant some DOTs.

Good job on getting back out there after what sounds like a serious injury.
I wrecked back in 2009 and took 1-2 years off from the track. Mainly due to financial reasons. Wrecking a bike on the track and being honest about it does a lot of damage to your bank account.
I started back up on Q2's and was pushing their limits within a few 20 minute sessions. They are predictable though when you start pushing hard.
Good luck out there.

From what I hear, they're probably better than the Pilot Powers I was racing on back in 2004. But of course I have about double the horsepower now.

Ya know, there are plenty less fortunate folks here that will happily spend some of your money so you don't have to buy things you don't need

Atem suit looks good. I tried one on but the Dainese cut seems to work a bit better on me.

Edit: which chain is that? That's next on my purchase list an probably the part I am least familiar with.

Was time to upgrade from the LP front stands. The headlift stand is okay but never liked my fork lift stand. Has plastic nubs that go into the bottom of the fork legs and just never felt that stable. Also not easy to do without concentrating quite a bit. So, replacing those two with this one.

I almost just got another fork lift since hardly ever need to lift it by the triple tree (though it is now since the forks are out getting resprung/revalved) but figured I'd just kill two birds.

Have not installed it yet. Haven't been able to create much garage time lately but figure I'll do this pretty soon since the forks are out of the way.

I've ready about people just making their own and wishing they'd just bought one, but I imagine it all depends on your skillz.

Actually not sure on the oil cooler offhand.

I believe in the chat thread I mentioned installing parts in March and you said get moving already. Well back at you!

Here is my excuse:

In seriousness the race org sells a kit that allows you to make your own. It's $50. It comes from a manufacturer, but I can't remember the name. I'm definitely leaning with the Cox, but I like to see all options then choose. I saw in the Cox install instructions it requires zip ties

Yeah yeah. I've had my 3 year old since Thursday evening so hard to get garage time. Not quite that cold here, but my Tundra has a snowhawk:
