Good looking machine!

There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one. -Joey Dunlop

WOW, good looking survivor there. You MUST tell us as much of its story that you know. What all needs to be done to it?

The Edge... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over.

Not sure about the history. Been looking for an old school GSX-R or ZX-7, this one just happen to come up for sale a few miles from my house on craiglist. Purchased from a gentleman that owns a vintage motorcycle shop. As part of the sale he went through the carbs and made sure it was running good, oil/filter change, new spark plugs, new tires. Bike came from Tennessee.

Starts up first try. I picked it up 2 months ago, spent a few days cleaning years of road grim off it, polished the swing arm, sent wheels / fairing bracket / top triple clamp to powder coating, new instrument panel / grips, obtained new headlight holder from a place in Canada (ebay) (mine was cracked), and replaced various nuts / bolts for new stock ones. Going to send front shocks for overhaul.

My truck needs a clean. Are you interested? Ha ha.

Darn, that looks fantastic for a 30 odd year old bike. Excellent work.

Haha, mine does too, being neglected since getting the bike.
